JOB DESCRIPTIONS
President
" Oversee all WWJD operations.
" Facilitate and lead all Board and General WWJD meetings.
" Help formulate new policies and operations procedures
for WWJD.
Vice President
" In the absence of the President, oversee WWJD operations
and facilitate meetings.
" Assist in presenting WWJD at various meetings.
Secretary
" Take minutes at all WWJD Meetings.
" Keep files on WWJD records in the WWJD office.
" Keep records on Drivers for WWJD and send FAX to insurance
company to add new drivers.
" Help with other issues/policies as necessary.
Treasurer
" Monitor all financial operations for WWJD.
" Prepare monthly financial statements using QuickBooks
and Microsoft Excel.
" Prepare yearly non-profit tax returns.
" Secure auditor if necessary for annual audit.
" Assist grant writer, Fundraising VP and other Board members
as necessary with financial data needed for grants and other
documents.
Human
Relations
" Fill open volunteer positions for WWJD.
" Solicit volunteers through advertisements in church bulletins
and mass e-mails.
" Update and maintain volunteer lists.
" Maintain mass e-mail list.
Communications/Marketing
VP
" Responsible for Marketing, Public Relations, Brochures.
" Create PowerPoint Presentations, maintain WWJD calendar
of events. Report information to webmaster.
" Design and maintain updates for WWJD Website.
Fundraiser
VP
" Coordinate all fundraising activities
" Present new ideas and logistics for new fundraising activities.
Representative
to PCCI
" Represent WWJD at Placer Care Coalition meetings (PCCI)
board.
" Assist Fundraising VP in planning fundraising activities.
" Report all activities - serve as a liaison between PCCI
and WWJD.
Outreach Community
VP
" Collaborate with other organization regarding needs of
clients and community.
" Train Outreach volunteers.
" Provide articles to newsletter staff as needed.
Outreach Volunteers
" Drive clients to/from Auburn medical facility using WWJD
automobile.
" Drive clients to local legal and medical office appointments.
Outreach Volunteer
(Clerical)
" Help fill out paperwork for clients, i.e., SSI forms,
etc.
" Maintain file on client database.
" Type various documents.
Grant Director/Writer
" Research and coordinate new grants for WWJD.
" Prepare paperwork for grants, obtain proper forms and
signatures.
" Work with Grant Assistant to maintain monthly reports
on individual grants.
Van Operations
" Responsible for all Van Loaders and Buyers.
" Work with daily teams of loaders and buyers regarding
flow of operations.
" Require knowledge in various operations, loaders, buying,
food distribution.
" Schedule volunteers for work.
" Maintain regular Van Maintenance.
" Maintain any paperwork to grant writer/assistant.
Van Loader
" Load Food in van on weekly basis per inventory requirements.
" List needed grocery items on Buyers list.
Buyer (Groceries)
" Purchase groceries weekly for WWJD operations per inventory
requirements.
" All purchases will be reimbursed by WWJD.
Van Volunteer
Coordinator
" Work with and oversee Daily Van Coordinators and their
teams.
" Train new van volunteers, provide orientation.
" Meet with volunteers, the Board and others as needed.
" Communicate with volunteers verbally and in writing to
insure understanding of our procedures and goals and to make
improvements to operations.
Van Volunteer
- Four volunteers are needed for daily operations.
" Driver: Will drive van to and from destination on day
assigned.
" Food Distribution (2): Distribute food to clients per
food items list.
" Data Collection: Sign in all clients during daily food
distribution.
" All volunteers will set up table for coffee/hot water
containers.
" All volunteers will clean up after food distribution.
Writer - Newsletter
" Write or prepare for print all articles and submissions
for newsletter (3 mailings a year).
Newsletter
Coordinator/Processor
" Maintain control of all phases of newsletter.
" Prepare newsletters for mailing.
" Apply WWJD labels to return envelopes, staple and fold
newsletters.
" Help or print newsletter.
" Make payment to post office for bulk postage (already
on newsletter) and mail and distribute to all church coordinators.
" Distribute newsletters to various churches.
" Arrange for the distribution of the newsletter at the
various churches.

& Updating Donor Data Base
Send "thank you" form letter to new donors
Update donor list with new donors.
Must know how to use a computer and Microsoft Excel .
Webmaster
" Maintain website.
" Upload all material and keep website current.
