Fund Raising

We are in desperate need of people who can help us raise funding. This involves items such as the following:

  • Contacting organizations in Placer County to seek sponsorships. This involves giving presentations to organizations, church groups, and others to inform them of our goals, services, stories, and to ask for their help.
  • Working on the committee for our fundraiser event in the following year
    • Finding raffel prizes
    • Selling tickets
    • Working with vendors to provide services
  • Writing grant proposals to charity foundations and following through to give them the information that they may require

I know that this sounds like a lot. We are looking for many people to help with this operation. We have a few volunteers now, but we can use many more. If you have a few hours a month to help then please contact us. We are in desperate need for people to help in this area.

This does not need a lot of your time, it is basically on your own schedule and it is something that we are in urgent need. So, if you have it in your heart to help then please help us in this area.


  • Responsible for P/R, Marketing, Brochures and WWJD Newsletter.
  • Create PowerPoint Presentations, maintain WWJD calendar.

Outreach Volunteer (Clerical)

  • Help fill out paperwork for clients, i.e., SSI forms, etc.
  • Maintain file on client database.
  • Type various documents.

Human Relations

  • Recruit new volunteers.
  • Call potential volunteers and match interests with open positions.
  • Fill vacancies on the Board and committees with qualified and committed volunteers.
  • Maintain data base on jobs requirements.
  • Maintain data base for volunteers.

Van volunteers in Roseville

Currently Roseville is in need of additional people who can help out with making coffee, driving our van, serving food, and general cleanup. We need additional people who can work on Wednesday morning, typically from 7AM to 9AM when we depart the service area.

This usually means that you should be retired and free from other employment obligations or have your morning free. We don’t want to interfere with your normal employment commitments.

,In addition, you should be able to lift about 30 pounds of prepared coffee from the ground to about two feet into the van.
